It was a shocking Friday morning after reports emerged that Kasiwukira, a city tycoon and renowned music promoter was knocked to death by a hit and run car when he had gone for his routine morning jogging in his area code in Muyenga.
Unconfirmed reports circulating reveal that the death of Kasiwukira could have been a planned move. According to the postmortem report, injuries on the deceased’s body reveal that he was hit by a car that seems not to have started far from where he was killed.
According to the spokesman of the police Enanga, some of the witnesses reveal that a vehicle had been seen at the scene where Kasiwukira was killed and left as soon as he was hit implying that this vehicle could have waited knowingly to run over him.
The spokesperson informed the press that the police men that were the first to arrive at the scene will be reprimanded for allegedly mishandling the scene of crime. He went on to say that the police is trained to handle such matters but the way they handled the scene was not proper and they are also under investigation.
Files concerning the case of Kasiwukira have been transferred from Kabalagala police station to Kibuli under the command of Geoffrey Musana and has so far re-constructed the crime scene to cross examine it to determine how the accident occurred.
