Bobi Wine yet again proved he’s still a big force in the local music industry after a massive crowd estimated to be in tens of thousands people attended his Size Yo concert in Busaabala at his own One Love beach.
With heavy security deployed by Afande Kawesi, the concert that started at around 2pm on the sunny Saturday of 18th October has been marked as one of the most successful concerts Bobi Wine has organized in his entire music career.
The show was hosted and emceed by comedy star Mc Kapale and Bukedde’s Full Doze show presenter Katongole. Several artistes turned up to support of the Ghetto gladiator including David Lutalo, Professor Big Eye, Pr. Wilson Bugembe, Gravity Omutujju, Radio and Weasel, Dr. Jose Chameleone among others.
Bobi Wine hit the stage at about 12:30am and sang all his songs from the genesis of his career as he dedicated some of the songs to his mentor and music promoter the Late Kasiwukiri. Bobi Wine who put up a spirited performance that lasted over two and a half hours ended the show at around 3am by thanking revelers who managed to tread the dusty and bumpy Busabaala road to show him all the love and support.
However, some fans were heard complaining that Bobi Wine didn’t fulfill his promise as it was supposed to be a “No Time and No sound limit” concert however, the music stopped playing as soon as Bobi Wine left the stage.
Bobi Wine is said to have reaped over Ugx 500 Million from the show.
