Uganda Cranes have continued with preparations ahead of their clash with struggling Togo which is due this Saturday (11th October) in the 2015 Morocco AFCON qualifiers. Cranes who were seeded with Ghana, Guinea Bissau and Togo in Group E will continue with their dream to take Uganda into the Africa cup of nations since 1978 when they host Togo this weekend before traveling to Lome, Togo for the return leg in four days after the clash at Namboole stadium.
With all players that were summoned for the national duty having arrived in the camp, head coach Micho together with his counter parts, Kefa Kisala (assistant coach) and Fred Kajoba (goal keeping coach) will have a plethora of players to choose from on who will make it to the starting line-up on Saturday.
Goal Keepers: Ismail Watenga, Denis Masinde Onyango, Robert Odongkara and Benjamin Ochan
Defenders: Andrew Mwesigwa (Captain), Denis Iguma, Martin Kizza, Geoffrey Walusimbi, Fred Nkata, Savio kabugo, Murushid Juuko, Richard Kassaga and Isacc Isinde
Midfielders: Tonny Mawejje, Khalid Aucho, Baker Lukoya ,Saidi Kyeyune, Brian Majwega, Moses Oloya, and Allan Kyambadde and Geofrey BabaKizito and Luwagga Kizito.
Strikers: Emma Okwi, Brian Umony, Karim Ndugwa, DanSserunkuma, Geoffrey Massa and Yunus Ssentamu
However three players have already been dropped by the technical staff. Saidi Kyeyune, Allan Kyambadde and Richard Kasagga who is allegedly injured are the three players that said to have been dropped.
