Musician Daxx Kartel Omuryeerubah who was arrested at the Uganda-Congo boarder over forged documents and was later released after paying a fine, has spoken out about his arrest. The ‘Self-service’ singer who was happy to be out of the cell said that he didn’t do anything wrong and that he is innocent.
Daxx was arrested for forging a passport and a Wizard Order Identity card and using these documents to sneak into a foreign country to get fake gold. It is said that he was found with a big amount of fake gold and silver which was estimated to be 80Kgs by the boarder weighting system.
“I bought that gold and I was going to use it in my new video,” said the Ryomboka Singer.
Daxx who will be shooting a video to his Vaayo tune maintained that he is innocent and didn’t commit any crime but was willing to pay the fine.
“The artiste said he left for Congo to purchase jewelry for his coming project Vaayo and this was after the NBS Lukaya promo show where after performing, he left with the Wizard Order Team for Congo,” said a close source who was affected by the news of the arrest.
Daxx shot a video recently with over 400 people in the video. He breathed fresh air after being released by the authorities. “I am free at last,” he said.
