As we write this, Jamaican dancehall singer Patra also known by her stage name Dorothy Smith has refused to leave Uganda. Apparently, she wishes the Club Mega fest had gone on forever since she loves the pearl of Africa very much.
News on our desk indicates that the “Family Affair” hit maker has stuck around since the day she performed at the Club Mega fest in Namboole and won’t be leaving Uganda any time soon.
The singer, who was literally dressed to kill at the Club Mega fest about a week ago is now working on a song with a local artiste. While as many foreign artistes always want to record from their home country when doing a collabo with a Ugandan, Patra has chosen to record from Kamwokya.
It has also been said that she is not giving the artiste a moment to breathe as she is hanging out with him at every possible opportunity. Last night, she was at Club Ambience with the same artiste.
Here is an update made by Bobi Wine, who is one of the artistes that have made Patra forget the way to Jamaica; “As the Ghetto President it’s mandatory for me to host and entertain all special guests from the Ghetto republics all over the world. Tonight we shall have a farewell party for the Queen of the park/dance hall Queen Patra from Jamaica. And if you get lucky you might get a chance to listen to this wicked tune from Bad Bobi wine and Queen_Patra it’s all going down tonight at Club_Ambiance.”
