MANCHESTER UNITED could get rid of Radamel Falcao, if he suffers a recurrence of his knee problems.
Falcao joined United on deadline day in a move that sent shockwaves through the market.
The 28-year-old Colombian was a high profile casualty of the World Cup, after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Monaco.
Falcao was forced to undergo surgery and there were fears he wouldn’t be the potent striker again he once was.
He was also put through a vigorous medical when he completed his switch to Old Trafford.
But reports now suggest that United could cut short Falcao’s loan deal if he breaks down again.
Were he to suffer a recurrence of his injury, United could tear up his contract and send him back to Monaco.
