Dynamic duo Radio and Weasel who are abroad for a music tour alongside Ebonies group are already fighting with the management of the acting group. The “Amaaso” singers are blaming the Ebonies group for sidelining them and frustrating their plans.
It all started when the Ebonies management disapproved of any side shows for the former Goodlyfe boys. Radio and Weasel had planned to stage several other shows in the UK, but management couldn’t allow them.
“They booked the boys at Go- Cool hotel and told them not to go anywhere because the Ebonies schedule was tight and they had to be with them at all rehearsals, actual shows and after parties. They had to only perform in London and Birmingham alongside the Ebonies and were not allowed to go anywhere else. They were like secondary school chaps being locked up and looked after,” said a source who has been following events in the UK.
It is said that the management of the Ebonies was aware that they would not pull a big crowd without Radio and Weasel. They replaced Bobi Wine after he was denied a Visa to the UK following his anti-gay sentiments. The group whose ban was raised recently with the help of Katende and Sempebwa Advocates, are obliged to perform alongside the Ebonies in the UK and UAE before they can perform independently in these foreign lands due to their past indiscipline.
The former Goodlyfe boys are unhappy by the conditions and they are doing all possible to fight with the Ebonies. Radio and Weasel performed alongside the Ebonies on August 23rd, 24th and they will conclude the tour today on 30th August.
