It’s now common knowledge that Kampala and Makerere University chics can give anything to be with Twinkle Star singer Khalifah Aganaga. From the way they dance with him in clubs, to the way they stalk him on social media, the guy has an X factor that Campus gals just can’t resist.
When he was involved in a terrible road accident last week, girl’s allover Kampala and Makerere stormed Facebook and poured prayers to the gods, new and old for their “Ndabirawa” star to be saved. This got us thinking, we talked to some random girls around the city and at Makerere University and asked them what they really love about musician Khalifah Aganaga.
Presenting the top two reasons why Makerere girls love Khalifah Aganaga.
His Dreadlocks:
Their mothers may hate guys with dreadlocks or worse still brand them thieves and ‘bayaye’, but a Makerere University chic will do anything to be with Khalifah because of his hair style. “The first time I saw Aganaga with his dreads I was like, oh my gosssshh. I have to date this guy, then my friends told me that he was a celeb and I even wanted him more, I wish I could get his Whatsapp number,” said Amina a resident of CCE at Makerere University.
The thing is, Kampala girls particularly those from Makerere will do anything to get a girl with dreads. They don’t care what their mothers have told them about such guys.
His Music:
The ladies revealed that Khalifah’s music is soul touching and they relate with it. Below is what Amina and Jackie said. “The first time I heard his song ‘Ndabirawa’, I fell in love with him. The guy is so romantic. Then came the video, OMG, I was head over heels for that ka guy kale,” said Amina before her friend Jackie chipped in. “I think he knows how to sing very well, for me I have downloaded all his music and have it on my laptop, when I get to my room, I play it all the time.”
Khalifah who had stopped studying to concentrate on his music career recently enrolled for a course at Makerere University. University girls have a chance to show Khalifah what they have.
