In a recent interview with a media house, Juliana’s man Amon Kabugo revealed that he is in a strong but unstable relationship with God. He said that he did not remember the time he last went to church after his son’s funeral service about one month ago.
“What is the church? The church is in me, so I am always in church. The last time I stepped in church, it was for my son’s funeral service,” he remarked.
The Sound Engineer who has spent most of his adult life in the UK revealed that he didn’t remember when he had last gone to church even before Keron’s funeral service. “But before that, I had taken long. I do not even pray, but I thank God. I have spent most of my life in Europe and I have seen the people who brought religion here don’t pray on Sunday. They go to the car wash and Sunday market,” he added.
Amon then affirmed his faith in the lord. “I have my own faith in God,” he concluded.
Amon and Juliana lost their only son together Keron last month. The 11 year old footballer died in Nairobi hospital of acute asthma. The mother left the country for a holiday abroad to cool off and forget the difficult time she went through following her only son’s demise.
