Less than a month from now, Uganda Cranes will kick-off its campaign in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifiers when they pay a visit to Ghana on the 6th of September in the group opener. The Cranes will later be hosting Guinea in their second game of the group stages in less than four days after their trip to West Africa. The Cranes will play Guinea on the 10th of September at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole at around 7.30pm.
In an attempt to attract more fans and in a bid to thank them for the continued support for national team, FUFA have come up with a mega offer for the first 5,000 fans. FUFA is offering a 25% discount on the ordinary ticket for the first 5,000 fans to purchase tickets to the match between Uganda Cranes and Guinea that will be played under floodlights on 10 September 2014.
“This discount is intended to encourage our fans benefit from early payments as is normally done at major tournaments’, said FUFA Finance Director Decolas Kiiza.
“FUFA is about innovations. We have decided to introduce the Early Bird Tickets in order to encourage our fans buy them early instead of the last minute rush”, said the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
This has come just almost a week after FUFA announced the official ticket prices for Uganda’s home games of the Group E AFCON qualifiers when the FUFA president launched the campaign on Wednesday last week at the FUFA house in Mengo during the weekly press conference.
The tickets go on sale today (Wednesday 20 August, 2014) at the following outlets;
1 –Airtel Uganda Outlets: Lugogo, Ben Kiwanuka Street, Bugolobi, Bweyogerere and Jinja Road
2 –City oil branches: Bombo Road, MartinRoad, Bakuli, Nakawa and Kamwokya.
