City socialite Zari has confirmed boyfriend Farouk Sempala as her handbag. It has been rumoured that Zari doesn’t look at Farouk as a real man, the same way she would look at Ivan Ssemwanga, her ex-hubby. The rumours became stronger when Urban TV’s Mary Luswata accused her of using Farouk as a toy, Zari responded by belittling Mary asking her to get ‘laid.’ “Get laid doll,” the former musician said.
Zari confirmed that she is using Farouk when she posted online calling him her bodyguard. “I am out her having fun and with Farouk by my side monitoring me,” she posted.
The post left many wondering whether Zari had reduced her man into a handbag and her bodyguard.
“Anyway, what else can he offer? He is a guy who carries an AK47 in the deep forests of Karamoja and spends hours in the gym than in the bank,” a critic told a local tabloid about the Zari Farouk scenario.
