Residents of Karingari area in Embu North Sub-County were treated to an unusual spectacle after a man, 46, publicly announced that his sexual organs had disappeared.
Isaac Muriithi, a father of four, claimed his wife had bewitched him making his private parts to recede, loss of potency and his stomach protruding.
He said he had gone to a local hospital to seek medication following excruciating pain and irritation in his groin.
“Since I got this illness, I can’t sleep with my wife. I am calling out to anyone who can help to bring me out of this devilish condition,” he cried out.
Muriithi even lowered his trousers to the public and the media to show the ‘missing’ organs that he said were a pale shadow of their former glory when he performed normally.
Over a thousand people had gathered at his home after learning about his strange condition. At one time, the crowd ambushed his wife baying for her blood but police rescued her.
A relative to Muriithi, Elizabeth Wanja, said they had tried all they could to help him regain his sexual parts but their efforts were in vain.
“He’s been having this problem for a while and was unable even to get outside his house. He is a prayerful man and today he was able to get out of the house and seek help,” she said.
Apostle Eric Njue of Jesus Heals Ministry was called all the way from Githurai to come and pray for the man.
“I was told that someone from Karingari had been bewitched and was in a lot of pain hence I decided to come,” he said.
Muriithi was then taken to a local church for prayers to have his sex organs get back to normal.
The prayers seem to have worked, because Muriithi later went home a jovial man.
