Katy Perry has topped YouTube’s list of the most played music videos of 2014 so far.
The singer’s clip for ‘Dark Horse’, which was uploaded to the site back in February has racked up almost 500 million views to date.
Below Perry on the top ten list was Shakira and Rihanna’s video for ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’, which has accumulated nearly 360 million views since appearing on YouTube in January.
While the Prism singer can boast the most-viewed music video of 2014, PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ remains the most popular music video on YouTube overall, with more than 2 billion views to date.
Perry has been nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), including Best Female Video for ‘Dark Horse’ as well as Best Collaboration for the track, which features Juicy J.
