Shaggy.

Namboole stadium will host the biggest party and mega concert of the year in September. Musicians Shaggy and Patra will perform live for crowds in a show dubbed Club Mega Concert. The renowned Jamaican stars will feature in the same concert with Mafikizolo from South Africa and Burna Boy from Nigeria.

According to Club Pilsner brand manager, Samuel Hooper, these stars will be joined by 20 of the finest Ugandan musicians on two stages. Sam believes that everyone’s interests need to be catered for and that is why he is flying in all these musicians.

About Shaggy:

Orville Richard Burrell (born October 22, 1968), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae fusion singer and deejay. He is best known for his hit singles “Boombastic”, “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel”. He is said to have taken his stage name from his shaggy hair.

About Patra:

Patra (born Dorothy Smith, 22 November 1972, Kingston, Jamaica) is also a Jamaican dancehall singer. In her beginnings as a female dancehall deejay in the late 1980s, she used the stage name Lady Patra. She first made an impression on the US charts as a featured singer on the Shabba Ranks song, “Family Affair”, which hit #84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994.
