Urban TV’s Mary Luswata has changed the face of Ugandan TV to a greater extent. She has literally opened up a whole new way for TV producers to start shows about celebrities’ lives that everyone had never seen. She doesn’t fear anyone, she will uncover any celeb on her show as long as she has information about them. NTV Uganda has also jumped on to the celebrity gossip bandwagon thanks to Mary Luswata’s successful show.
Yes, in a bid to tap in some of the traffic going to Urban TV’s Scoop on Scoop show, the Serena based station will in August start their own version of celebrity gossip news. In a show dubbed “Bubble burst”, NTV Uganda has hired Radio City presenter Cleopatra to uncover all the secret lives of Ugandan celebs.
Bubble burst according to our source at NTV will pretty much run like Scoop on Scoop only that there will not be Mary Luswata on the show this time round. NTV believes that their new show will give Urban TV a run for their money. Cleopatra will be uncovering the hidden life of Ugandan celebs.
