We have learnt that Jinja road based club Rouge closed indefinitely on Monday over rent arrears. We have been informed that club Rouge which has run for two months without paying rent was closed on Monday by Sudhir who owns the building on which it is.
There are rumors that the club may close indefinitely after its owner Ronald Muramuzi was remanded to Luzira on defrauding grounds. It has since been run by family members.
“The club has been running on generator power since we can not afford UMEME,” an employee told us. Meanwhile business is booming for its neighboring clubs like Amnesia and 9 degrees.
