Whatever she lacks when it comes to looks, she makes up for it with a big loud mouth. Mary Luswata is currently the most feared journalist in the celebrity circles, some have called her the Ugandan Linda Ikeji, however, for lack of better descriptions, let’s call her the female version of Peng Peng.
She will take everything personal, she is a perfect polariser. Of late, she’s been at it with Judith Heard. She cuts out her point without fear or favour, despite the fact that most of her celebrity gossip is lacking in accuracy, the emotions with which she delivers the gossip makes it believable.
Mary Luswata is that one woman you wouldn’t ever want to date, otherwise dumping her would be an impossibility. But who the hell is Mary Luswata? Why is she on everyone’s lips at the moment?
For starters she’s one of those girls you wouldn’t recognize on the streets, she passes off as one of those food touts in Owino, as much as the lady selling charcoal in your area. She has neither looks nor the brains, but she has the mouth. But hey, we are not here to attack personalities, we are here to introduce the female version of Peng Peng.
She delivers gossip features on Galaxy FM and Urban TV. In her own words; “I write on leaves and I don’t kiss ass. I tried and failed so I guess it’s not in my DNA.”
But who is Mary Luswata? No one has an idea. Apart from being the girl who speaks about celebrities; “who is Mary Luswata?”
