Unlike Alex Muhangi, many Ugandans love the salaries they get from their jobs, but hate the fact that they have to work. This is different for comedian and engineer Alex Muhangi formerly of Crackers comedy team. The comedian today revealed that he loves his work so much and below is why.
The “funny man” who had been at the helm of the production team at Fenon records and left the company a few days ago for Kiwatule based Buddies studios says that he gets the same amount his job pays after 30 days in one day. “When I get a gig, they pay me a lot of money, sometimes in dollars. They sometimes give me the money I would be making in 30 days after just one gig” he told Sheila Sempebwa and Mosha Danze of the Skizzy show on Urban TV.
In August this year Muhangi will host the Ugandan North American Association convention slated for August 29th in San Diego California USA. He is also expected to host the Uganda-UK convention that will be held in London in September. He explained that such gigs make his job the best in the world. “I love my Job,” he told the TV presenters.
It is now very clear why he loves his job. Fellow Mc’s are also reaping big from the same. These include KFM’s Roger Mugisha, Radio City’s Brian Mackenzie whose PR company called Kella PR celebrated a year of existence recently, NTV Uganda’s Mc Kats, Commedianne Anne Kansiime who was recently appointed the brand ambassador of a Kenyan Financial and Planning company, Patrick Salvador who also landed a mega advertising deal with DSTV Africa recently, Agaba Tumusiime, CBS radio’s Abby Mukiibi, Patricko Mujjuka, Capital Fm’s Flavia Tumusiime among others.
