Los Angeles Police Department are investigating allegations of an attempted robbery by Justin Bieber.
The 20-year-old popstar is under investigation for an alleged incident which took place in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles on Monday night (May 12).
“Detectives are currently interviewing the victim,” officer Rosario Herrera told The Hollywood Reporter. “It was reported at 10.30pm Monday night to our Devonshire location and occurred earlier in the day in the Valley.”
Herrera added that no arrests have been made in relation to the incident at present.
The latest allegations follow a string of run-ins with the law for the singer.
Last month, Bieber was reportedly detained at Los Angeles International Airport while trying to re-enter the United States from Japan.
Meanwhile, the singer was arrested in January for allegedly driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired licence. A trial is due to take place from July 7, having previously been scheduled for early May.
