Club Venom’s Nickita loves to dress up. Not just when she is at her job, but also for those numerous selfies. The one trick she has managed to master is the use of accessories to elevate her look. She shared with us the secrets to her chic looks, and why her closet is very trendy.
Because of the nature of your job, you are in a nightclub most of the time, does this dictate your outfit choices when you are out shopping?
Yes it does. Most of the time I go out shopping, I’m automatically attracted to trendy night outfits.
Where and how often do you go shopping?
As you see Kampala doesn’t really have any fashion label outlets. So I do not really go shopping. I have several people who shop when they are out of Uganda and bring me the clothes and I buy from them. This happens every week at least
Which is the craziest purchase you have made of an item/accessory?
Craziest? I wouldn’t really remember. Because they have been numerous.
Which is the one item in your wardrobe that you would never give out?
I have several precious ones but I think there is a certain dress that was given to me by Gareth as a present. That I would never give out!
What would you deem your worst buy ever?
Um… That would be hard to tell too.
What would be your top five wardrobe must have’s for every woman?
A lace outfit definitely, a classy office wear, a sexy little black dress, a sexy white outfit, definitely one of Rihanna desisgns.
What is your most prized item, and for how long have you had it?
My most prized item is my birthday dress cause I came up with the design myself and I have had it for about 5 months now.
Have you ever had to save up on an outfit, or accessory that you saw but couldn’t afford?
Not really. If I saw something I like I never just deposit. Lol. I pay the full amount. I have nothing I have ever liked and couldn’t afford.
What are some of the irritating fashion trends you notice with Kampala men?
Kampala men. Hm-mm… fat guys putting on tight shirts and skinny trousers. Not cool at all!!
Who is your style crush?
That would be my husband.
Which Ugandan celebrity do you feel need to hire a stylist, to turn their fashion sense around?
Those are very many. Many of our celebrities dress normal.
Which international celebrity would you swap wardrobes with?
Definitely Rihanna…. That girl has gotten her fashion thing worked out.
If you were to auction off your entire shoe collection, how much would it go for?
I have never thought about it. I would never sell it off. I hold My shoe collection close to my heart….. Lol
Which is the one trend you can never ever try out?
The new trend of wearing leggings and tiny tops because I do not think that’s how leggings a meant to be put on.
What is the most enviable pair of shoes on your shoe rack?
My zanoutti shoes.
