Met Ball, recently held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York, was flocked with Hollywood stars in their amazing outfits, and the majority sure did not disappoint. The ‘White Tie and Decorations’ themed annual event was hosted by American Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
Here is a roundup of our favourite looks of the evening plus of course, the loathes.
THE NAILS:
Kim and Kanye
The soon to be pair looked amazing, Kim in her midnight blue gown, complete with a thigh slit and strappy sandals.
Charlie Theron and Sean Penn
The new lovebirds looked dapper alongside one another in their coordinated monochrome looks.
Anne Hathaway
It’s safe, and she manages to pull it off.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
Blake looked stunning as she walked alongside her beau. That dress did those curves a lot of justice.
Victoria and David Beckham
Magnifiscent!
Frank Ocean
He’s cute, with lovely eyes, and also has great fashion taste. This is what they call a whole package.
Rihanna
The cropped top and floor length skirt was a sure show stopper. This is my second favourite look of the night.
THE FASHION WALKS OF SHAME.
Kristen Stuart
This is bad, very bad! It’s ugly, tasteless, and ridiculous. You can’t wear sheer, sequins and feathers all in one look.
Beyonce
For someone that is not just a trend setter, but a Fashionista, I am still wondering what Bey really saw in this dress. There is too much skin on show, and the looks get very tacky, particularly with that plunging necckline.
Rita Ora
The truth is I love this dress, but not with that arm detail, and those awful shoes. And I heard you even went as far as flashing your undies… arghhhhhh!!
Katie Holmes
The hair is very messy; the dress is a little overboard, especially with the detail round your cleavage. No wonder you are even faking a smile.
Tabitha Simmons
You wanted attention, all in the wrong ways. This dress is just that; awful.
Erykah Badu
We could blame that hat on the Pharell effect. You look horrible my dear!
Zoe Saldana
No denying, this girl is great on screen, but the same can’t be said about her fashion sense. She is yet to find her fashion beat.
