Rebecca Malope

Gospel music queen Rebecca Malope is set for a charity concert in Kampala.

Rebecca Malope is a South African gospel singer born in 1968. She hosts the TV show “It’s Gospel Time.” Rebecca has released 32 albums in a music career spanning over 27 years to date. Her 32nd album was released recently and is titled “Ukuthula”,which translates to English as Peace.

According to sources, the star singer will perform at Kampala Serena hotel sometime in September. She will perform alongside local gospel stars including Wilson Bugembe, Judith Babirye among others.

Music promoters behind the concert insist the concert is for a charitable cause. The concert is meant to raise funds for orphaned children in Northern Uganda and Malope will visit their camp after the show.
