50 Cent Says Puff Daddy’s “Big Homie” Is “Garbage”

50cent50 Cent speaks on Diddy’s “Big Homie”, suggesting that the rapper is not making music that people want to hear.

50 Cent is an opinonated dude. Never one to hold his tongue, maybe now more than ever, 50 Cent had a few things to say about Diddy, or now Puff Daddy’s recent musical output.

In a new interview with 92.3 jams, 50 commented on Jay Z and Diddy’s longevity in the business world, speaking on artists’ “expiration dates”, after saying Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks were past their prime.

“If the guy doesn’t have significant savvy with the actual business or with the actual culture he’ll be out of here,” he said. “You’ll see Jay around as long as he’s been around. What he’s on like 11 albums? Puff’s still out there.”

Fif then argued that Diddy doesn’t need music to keep him relevant, throwing shade at the rapper’s recent single in the process.

“He don’t even need a record. Cause he don’t got one,” he said. “Like you know Puffy ain’t got no music that you wanna hear. That ‘Big Homie’ shit is garbage. I’mma keep it all the way real with you. Because the guy says ‘Don’t worry about if I write my rhymes, I write checks.’ And then sings to you.”

This isn’t the first time 50 has taken aim at Puff, indicating that the Bad Boy mogul was an “entertainer, not an artist” in an interview a few weeks back.
