Seya’s new radio station is set to open soon for business. As Kiis FM radio station broadcasting on the 102.7 frequency joins the over 150 radio stations in Kampala soon, NTV presenter Rwamiti has been given a job there.
Miles Rwamiti of the Kona dance TV show follows his workmate at NTV Uganda Mc Kats who joined another new radio station called Wavah FM recently. Urban TV’s Kyle was also given a job at Red Pepper’s Juice FM last month. It seems all TV presenters are getting lucky with radio too. Rwamiti will be working on the station alongside other radio professionals including Dj Wilber, Sherry Matovu, Kalibatana and Fifi da queen.
“Mpiima Wilberforce also known as Dj Wilber decided he must work on Kiis fm. So, he signed up and he will be the only one coming from the station he is coming from as far as I know…welcome aboard. very versatile presenter currently in the top 10 male presenters in kampala.” Joel Isabirye formerly of Super FM told us.
According to our sources, Kiis FM has already tested its signal in Kampala and is now ready to battle the heavy radio competition the Ugandan Capital. The station owned by former Kampala mayor Nasser Ntege Sebaggala is based in Bugolobi here in Kampala. We will keep you posted.
