Chris Brown may be in jail, but he’s still finding ways to connect with his fans — especially his biggest fan, Karrueche Tran. Karrueche uploaded a video to Instagram on March 31 showing everyone a message Breezy left for in her in which he thanked her for supporting him before dropping those three words — “I love you.”
In the video, Karrueche beams while playing Chris’ message:
“Calling for my fans, and you know I love y’all. Thank you for your support. Thank you for everything. You know, the new video just came out, so I hope y’all enjoy that,” Chris says before turning to the real reason for the phone call. “And most importantly, Kae. Karrueche, I love you. So thank you, babe.”
Though we don’t know everything Chris has said in private, it’s about time that his appreciation for Karrueche was made public. She may be the only woman in the world who would stick by Chris no matter what. The R&B singer has made a lot of mistakes, recently and over the years, and he’s lost a lot of supporters — but KT has stood by his side through everything.
But we’re still pretty surprised to see Chris profess his love to Karrueche, because their relationship finally hit a snag with the singer heading to prison. KT was forced to dump Chris after she saw that he was texting inappropriate things to a ton of other girls, according to TMZ. KT also refuses to visit Chris in jail, and instead has been spotted out partying with girl friends, trying to enjoy the single life.
So Chris’ phone message may have been an attempt to win Kae back — a sort of apology for all the horrible things he’s put her through. And if we had to guess (seriously, just look at how happy Karrueche is in the video), the phone call will probably work. “Yes she does [still love him],” a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Karrueche’s not even interested in talking about the past with him because it will upset both her and him and she realizes she cannot change the past.”
