Ugandan singer Desire Luzinda has revealed that she and her husband, gospel singer Levixone, are expecting twins, sharing exciting news about their growing family.

Desire hinted at the development in a video captioned, “The only Ssalongo this year,” sparking excitement among fans and well-wishers celebrating the couple’s new chapter.
The caption suggests that the couple could be preparing to welcome twins, although it remains unclear whether Desire is announcing an ongoing pregnancy or revealing that the babies have already arrived.
While the singer’s message has raised questions about the timing, the mention of twins has become the highlight of the announcement, with fans eager to learn more about the family’s latest milestone.
The news comes as Levixone prepares for his November 7 concert, adding another reason for celebration to what has already been a significant year for the gospel singer and his wife.
Desire Luzinda and Levixone’s Love Story
Desire and Levixone officially tied the knot on August 15, 2025, in a private wedding ceremony held at Serena Hotel in Kigo, following their traditional introduction ceremony on August 12 in Matugga, Wakiso District.
The wedding was officiated by Apostle Grace Lubega, founder of Phaneroo Ministries International, and attended by close family members, friends and selected personalities from Uganda’s entertainment and religious circles.
The couple had publicly announced their engagement in July 2025, bringing an end to years of speculation about their relationship. Levixone shared an emotional proposal video on social media, describing Desire as the woman he had prayed for and his answered prayer.
Their relationship has attracted considerable public interest, particularly because Desire, who previously built her name in Uganda’s secular music industry, later embraced gospel music and Christian ministry.
