Chozen Blood has opened up about how the loss of his mother changed his perspective on love, relationships, and personal growth, revealing that he has spent the last five years focusing on healing and rediscovering himself.
Speaking candidly, the singer explained that his healing journey began after his mother’s passing and intensified during the COVID-19 lockdown. He said he turned to fitness as a way of rebuilding himself, crediting Winnie for introducing him to Kash Gym, where he developed self-resilience, self-love, and greater self-awareness.
Chozen Blood said the process helped him realize that many of the struggles he experienced in past relationships stemmed from not understanding his own boundaries. That realization led him to step away from romantic relationships so he could focus entirely on personal growth.
He admitted that, at this stage of his life, he finds it difficult to commit emotionally to one person, saying it would be dishonest to claim he loves only one person while he is still on a journey of self-discovery.
According to the singer, love is now a conscious choice rather than just an emotion, and genuine love begins with loving oneself first. He encouraged others to prioritize their own healing, noting that “you can never pour from an empty cup.”
Chozen Blood believes that by choosing self-love and working on personal healing, people become better equipped to positively impact those around them.
