Club Rouge has been closed. The Jinja Road based popular city hangout was sold Monday this week by owner Spear Abowo for close to UGX 300 Million. News coming in indicates that as of 30th this month, the club will be closed.
“To make it more appealing to revelers and Kampala partiers, the club will be closed down for renovation so that it can be able to compete with the likes of Amnesia, Silk and other clubs in the city.” revealed a source who is part of the new management.
Club Rouge went down the drain following the exit of former marketing manager Gareth Onyango and wife Nikita Bachu his assistant who moved to Club Venom in Kabalagala.
According to the new management headed by a businessman called Ronald, the club which has been in existence for nine years will open soon for serious business.
