Another Luganda newspaper was launched on the market last week. The Ebbaluwa newspaper goes for 1,500 shillings and hit the market last week on Wednesday, 19th March.
Readers were happy to see a new paper on the stands on Wednesday as many copies were bought. Over 5,000 copies were sold according to the management of Ebbaluwa. “Our paper Ebbaluwa that was launched today has sold 5,000 copies in a short time as soon as it hit the stands. Thank you very much for the support.” Read a statement on their Facebook page.
The paper joins the likes of Bukedde, Enyanda, Kamunye and Edoboozi newspapers that have for long dominated this market.
