Following the warm reception of her debut Afrobeat single “Webale Nnyo,” Lady Champagne
returns with a powerful new release that showcases a different side of her artistry. Her latest single,
“Leave Me Alone,” is an emotionally charged anthem about self-respect, healing, and finding the
strength to move forward after disappointment.
While “Webale Nnyo” introduced listeners to Lady Champagne’s vibrant personality and
appreciation for African culture, “Leave Me Alone” dives deeper into the emotional realities of toxic
relationships. The song delivers a clear message: sometimes the strongest thing you can do is walk
away and protect your peace.
With heartfelt lyrics, infectious Afrobeat rhythms, and a memorable chorus, Lady Champagne
blends emotion with energy, creating a song that is both relatable and uplifting. The song speaks to
anyone who has experienced heartbreak, betrayal, manipulation, or the courage it takes to choose
themselves over a relationship that no longer serves them.
“This song is about knowing your worth. It’s for everyone who has reached a point where they can
confidently say, ‘I’ve had enough. It’s time for me to move forward.'” – Lady Champagne
Born in Germany, Lady Champagne developed a deep connection with African music and culture
through her experiences in Africa. Her unique background continues to shape her sound,
combining international influences with authentic Afrobeat rhythms. Through her music, she tells
stories that resonate across cultures and connect with audiences worldwide.
The success of “Webale Nnyo” laid a strong foundation for her musical journey, introducing her to
new fans across streaming platforms and social media. Building on that momentum, “Leave Me
Alone” represents a confident step forward, highlighting her growth as both a songwriter and
performer.
Released under Retro Records, the single is expected to appeal to Afrobeat lovers, contemporary
pop audiences, and anyone looking for music that inspires confidence and emotional resilience.
