Ugandan legendary singer Juliana Kanyomozi has reflected on a painful period in her life when social media greatly frustrated her.
The award-winning singer revealed that public discussions and speculation about her son’s paternity deeply disturbed her and affected her peace of mind.
Juliana said the constant online conversations went beyond boundaries and became emotionally draining.
Juliana welcomed her son Taj in 2020, a moment she described as very special and healing.
His birth came after a heartbreaking loss of her first son, Keron Kabugo, who passed away in 2014.
The celebrated singer noted that while social media can be a powerful tool, it can also become harmful when it invades personal life and sensitive family matters.
She emphasized the importance of protecting one’s mental health and setting boundaries with the online world.
Juliana Kanyomozi remains one of Uganda’s most respected musicians and continues to inspire many through her music, strength, and openness about her life experiences.
