Fast-rising artist Wizzard OG has tapped into the country’s biggest viral moment with his latest track titled “Ki Uganda Kinyuma.” The jam draws inspiration from the now-famous catchphrase originally said by Finance Minister Matia Kasaija, which has taken over social media and the entertainment world.
Wizzard OG’s rendition delivers a vibrant Afro-dancehall vibe — catchy, energetic, and proudly Ugandan. The song has already gone viral on TikTok and is quickly finding its way onto party playlists across the country. With his signature blend of rhythmic flow and a danceable beat, Wizzard serves up a feel-good anthem that captures Uganda’s lively spirit.
Since Kasaija’s statement sparked the “Ki Uganda Kinyuma” craze, top artists like Alien Skin, Juliana Kanyomozi, Fefe Bussi, and Omega 256 have all dropped their own versions. However, Wizzard OG’s take stands out for its youthful flair and street-smart production — a certified party-starter that gets listeners moving effortlessly.
The singer, recognized for tracks such as “Honey,” “Mafia,” “Champe” ft Dokta Brain, and “Simala” off Jose Chameleone’s Kawempe Riddim, continues to cement his place among Uganda’s most promising new talents.
Speaking about the release, Wizzard OG described “Ki Uganda Kinyuma” as a tribute to positivity, resilience, and national pride, reminding fans that despite the challenges, there’s still plenty to celebrate about Uganda.
