Uganda’s talented saxophonist Brian Mugeni has promised his fans a top-drawer event in August.

The Artiste who is based in Kenya, recently released a six track gospel album entitled Take time.

Brian Mugenyi Seremba is a Ugandan and arguably the best Saxophonist in Uganda. He is also a composer, pianist and vocalist Professionally. Brian’s instrumental skills started in church but he took it to the professional level when he enrolled at Africa Institute of Music (AIM) in Uganda for his Bachelor’s degree in Music, majoring in Classical piano.

He started playing the Sax in 2008, but has had a piano background since the age of 10. He featured on a couple of songs including Benon Mugumbya’s “Because of you”, Swangs avenue’s “Do they know its Christmas?” album and many more.

He has also worked and shared stages with established local Artists like Maurice Kirya, Benon Mugumbya, Exodus, Jamal, Radio and Weasle, Irene Namubiru, Bebe Cool, Grace Nakimera, among a list of many others.

The 26 year old has worked with incredible musicians and Jazz artists like Tshaka Mayanja, Pragmo Nsaiga, Qwela band, Michael Ouma, Phil Denny from USA, A Star from Nairobi and several others. His Debut album “Take Time” was released late 2013. Its a collection of wonderful Gospel tunes redone in a relaxing style, with take time written by himself.
