Celebrated singer David Lutalo has praised fellow artist Gloria Bugie, describing her as one of the most talented female singers in Uganda.
Speaking in a recent YouTube interview, Lutalo didn’t hold back his admiration for Bugie’s unique vocal abilities, saying she stands out among the country’s top female artists.
“The things Gloria Bugie sings, few female artists can sing like her,” Lutalo said. “She has a voice that can cross the world — it’s similar to that of Tiwa Savage and even some Indian musicians.”
He went on to caution critics against undermining her talent, revealing that he once heard her perform live and was deeply impressed.
“I heard her sing live one time and appreciated it. People should not underestimate her voice,” he added.
