The custodians of the Nyege Nyege portal are thrilled to announce that American DJ and producer Skrillex will be performing at the 10th Anniversary of Nyege Nyege Festival, taking place from November 20–23, 2025, at the breathtaking Kalagala Falls on the Nile River, hosted at the Adrift Overland Camp & River Club.

As one of the most influential artists of our time, Skrillex has revolutionized global dance music, captivating audiences at the world’s biggest stages, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, and Lollapalooza. His collaborations with icons such as Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Diplo, and Fred Again.. have left an indelible mark across pop, hip hop, and electronic music.
With multiple Grammy Awards and billions of streams to his name, Skrillex’s debut at Nyege Nyege is both a historic milestone for East Africa and a defining highlight in the festival’s decade-long legacy.
In addition to Skrillex, the festival will feature a diverse lineup of over 100 artists across six immersive stages, blending ancestral rhythms, underground innovations, and future-facing sounds. More acts will be announced soon, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
Since its beginnings as an underground gathering on the banks of the Nile, Nyege Nyege has evolved into a global movement celebrating alternative African music, radical creativity, and communal joy. Over the past ten years, it has connected thousands of artists, dancers, and dreamers from around the world, creating a unique cultural ecosystem in Uganda and beyond.
This tenth edition is not only a celebration of the journey so far, but also a bold declaration of the future. After years of exploration along the riverbanks, Nyege Nyege is now set to settle at Kalagala Falls, a sacred and stunning location offering sweeping views, riverside wilderness, on-site bungee jumping, and world-class festival infrastructure.
