Nubian Li’s wife, Shiko Mutoni, has dismissed swirling rumors of a breakup with the singer, clarifying that her Facebook account was hacked.
Speaking publicly just before Nubian Li’s arrest by police on Tuesday, Mutoni reassured fans that all is well in their marriage. “I have no issue whatsoever with my husband. We are enjoying our marriage,” she said.
Speculation about a split had intensified after several posts appeared on Mutoni’s Facebook page, claiming she had been “disrespected enough” by Nubian Li’s friends and was ready to walk away from their long-term relationship.
Mutoni has now distanced herself from the posts, stressing that she is no longer in control of the account. “My page was hacked,” she explained.
Nubian Li also weighed in on the matter, noting that the reports of a breakup found them together at their marital home. “We were as shocked about it as everyone else on social media,” he said.
The couple has since urged fans not to fall for misleading information shared by unauthorized individuals using hacked accounts.
