Singer Mikie Wine has come out to caution veteran musician Ragga Dee, urging him to publicly speak the truth about the controversy surrounding his latest track “Zuena.”

The dispute stems from claims that Mikie Wine sampled or used beats from one of Ragga Dee’s old songs without permission. Shortly after Mikie released “Zuena,” Ragga Dee announced plans to sue him, accusing the Firebase Entertainment singer of copyright infringement.
However, Mikie Wine insists that Ragga Dee is being dishonest about the matter.
He revealed that he personally approached Ragga Dee before releasing the song and secured his approval.
“I came to you and we agreed, but now you changed on me and said different things. I even called him to ask about what he was telling the media and bloggers, but he didn’t pick up. We had spoken about everything, and I got permission to redo the song,” Mikie explained.
The singer further emphasized that he wouldn’t want future conflicts with Ragga Dee’s estate or family over ownership of the song since he has evidence of their agreement.
“Unless Ragga Dee allows me to release the voice notes, I won’t expose him. But there’s proof of our agreement. I spoke with him for three weeks, and Abdul Mulaasi is my witness. We discussed copyright issues and he said there was no problem. I don’t understand why he switched up,” Mikie Wine added.
