Joel Ssenyonyi, the Leader of the Opposition’s legal luminary, has officially joined the ranks of Uganda’s practicing lawyers.

He announced the milestone on his X account, sharing the culmination of a long legal journey.
“Becoming a Practicing Advocate is such a lengthy journey. When one finishes the law degree, and then LDC, the final step to getting a Practicing Certificate to enable one represent clients in court is Enrolment,” Ssenyonyi wrote.
He added, “This morning, I finished the last lap and enrolled (name entered into the roll/register of advocates) after numerous lengthy procedures. So if you need Counsel to represent you, just holla.”
Ssenyonyi’s announcement marks his official authorization to represent clients in court, a significant achievement following years of rigorous legal training and practical preparation.
