Ugandan singer Nina Roz has publicly addressed her former record label, Black Market Records, demanding that it halts any attempts to release her unreleased music.

Nina Roz, who spent a significant portion of her career under the management of Black Market Records, collaborated on multiple music projects during her time with the label. While some of the songs were released to the public, others remain unpublished and in the hands of the label.
Since parting ways with Black Market Records, Nina Roz has embarked on a solo career, independently promoting her music with the help of a small team of assistants and promoters. The singer has worked hard to re-establish herself in the music industry on her own terms.
However, recent indications from Black Market Records that they plan to release some of her unreleased tracks have prompted a strong response from the artist.
Nina Roz insists that her contract with the label has officially ended and that they no longer hold any rights to her music.
“Respectfully, my contract with Black Market Records officially ended, and I retain full rights over my unreleased music. Any further release without my consent is unauthorized. I value my art, and I will not allow anyone to misuse or profit off my work without agreement,” she stated.
She emphasized that she will not tolerate exploitation of her music by what she described as “selfish people” and is prepared to take any necessary steps to protect her intellectual property.
