The Uganda Police Force has officially launched a manhunt for self-styled tycoon Don Chris, following numerous complaints from individuals who claim he defrauded them of millions of shillings.

Speaking to the media on Monday afternoon, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed that investigations are actively ongoing and that Don Chris will soon be arrested to face fraud-related charges.
“Different people have approached us regarding the matter of the person commonly known as Don Chris, and the search is on to see him arrested over fraud-related charges,” Onyango stated.
According to reports, Don Chris—who is the proprietor of SkyPins Tours and Travel—is accused of swindling over 500 million Ugandan shillings from several youths across the country under false promises of travel and job opportunities.
Adding fuel to public outrage, Don Chris reportedly made a TikTok Live mocking his victims. In the video, he allegedly boasted of being untouchable due to his powerful connections and declared that no one could hold him accountable.
SkyPins Tours and Travel offices remain closed, and Don Chris is reportedly in hiding. He has allegedly refused to refund any money to the defrauded individuals, further aggravating the situation.
Authorities have urged the public to remain calm as they continue their efforts to locate and apprehend Don Chris, assuring victims that justice will be served.
