The much-anticipated World of Sounds concert series is making a grand return. Season 2, themed the R&B Edition, is set to take place on August 29 at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala, promising a vibrant evening of music, art, and cultural celebration.

Having established itself as a premier platform for showcasing diverse musical styles and artistic expressions, World of Sounds offers a truly immersive experience. The event is known for blending music with alternative creative arts, delivering a unique cultural encounter for all attendees.
The inaugural edition, held on October 6, 2023, at the Kampala Serena Hotel, was a resounding success. It featured an impressive lineup of artists, headlined by the legendary Myko Ouma, who captivated the audience with his signature Afro-jazz fusion sound.
The stage also came alive with performances from renowned instrumentalists like Jose Sax, Sewa Sewa of the Janzi instrument, Kenneth Mugabi, and Joel Sebunjo, among others.

Pop sensations A Pass, Steve Keys, B2C, and Maurice Kirya also added their unique flair to the evening.
However, the highlight of the night was a surprise appearance by Ugandan diva Juliana Kanyomozi, who joined Myko Ouma on stage to perform her beloved hits “Sanyu Lyange” and “Diana”. The electrifying performance had the entire audience on their feet.
Now, sources close to the organizers reveal that an international star is rumored to headline this year’s edition.
While official details remain under wraps, anticipation is already sky-high, with fans eager to witness a global act grace the Kampala stage.
