Steel building solutions manufacturer, Uganda Baati has in a strategic move opened its 17th showroom in Kyengera, a rapidly growing business center along Masaka road.

Located along the Kampala–Masaka Highway, the showroom will serve homeowners, contractors, and businesses in the fast-growing Wakiso District and its surrounding areas. The new facility will provide access to Uganda Baati’s premium product portfolio, including Lifestile, Orientile, Romantile, Versatile, Covermax and Resincot.

Local leaders and residents welcomed the development with enthusiasm, acknowledging Uganda Baati’s impact on infrastructure growth and economic development.

“The presence of Uganda Baati in Kyengera means convenience, affordability, and reliability for builders in this region. It will significantly reduce the costs associated with sourcing quality building materials from distant locations,” said Ganagwa Expedito, the LC1 Chairperson of Kyengera town council.

Patrick Katende, Head of Service Centers and Sales at Uganda Baati, stressed the showroom’s role in enhancing customer experience and curbing counterfeit products, “With this new showroom, customers will not only have easier access to genuine Uganda Baati products but also receive expert advice on choosing the right solutions for their projects. This ensures that they get value for their money and long-lasting quality.”

Uganda Baati CEO, George Arodi emphasized the tactical significance of the development. “Our expansion into Kyengera is a clear demonstration of our 60-year old mission to bring premium building solutions closer to the communities. The vibrancy of Kyengera’s market and its entrepreneurial spirit inspire us to continue innovating and delivering quality,” he stated.

The new showroom is also an extension to the broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by Uganda Baati as it will provide the community with not only roofing, but also tap into the four pillars of education, shelter, the environment and health.

The guest of honor, Mrs. Nantege Betinah the LC5 vice chairperson of Wakiso district, urged all residents to of Wakiso and Kyengera to make the most of this opportunity and recommend their products to others. “We pledge our continued support and sincerely thank Uganda Baati for bringing services closer to people,” she stated.

For over sixty years now, Uganda Baati has been synonymous with excellence, offering innovative and sustainable building solutions tailored to Uganda’s construction needs. The opening of the Kyengera showroom marks another milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to empower and provide communities top quality products and services.
