What seemed like a quiet end to a long on-and-off relationship has now turned into a public war of words between ex-musician Sherry Matovu and her ex-husband, Katumba Thaddeus.
The former couple, who share children together, are once again making headlines as Thaddeus spills details that paint a very different picture of their past.
In a recent statement, Thaddeus dropped a bombshell, claiming that there was never a real romantic relationship between him and Sherry. According to him, he stayed solely for the sake of their children.
“Sherry Matovu added nothing other than giving birth to me. I want to let anyone know that there was no love between us and that is the main reason why we separated — nothing more, nothing less,” he revealed.
The two officially ended their relationship last year after several breakups and reconciliations. While both have since moved on with new partners, they continue to take subtle jabs at each other through interviews and social media.
Thaddeus didn’t hold back, expressing relief that he is no longer tied to Matovu. “I’m happy I didn’t get stuck with a woman like her,” he said, making it clear that he has no regrets about the separation and is content with his new relationship.
