Shazney Khan, the former partner of musician Mikie Wine and mother of his children, is set to celebrate a major academic milestone as she prepares to graduate from medical school this July.
Shazney has been pursuing her medical studies at the Indian Institute of Health & Allied Sciences, located on Kirombe – Butabika Road in Kampala.
After years of dedication and hard work, she is set to don her graduation gown on 11th July 2025, an achievement she says she’s extremely excited about and eagerly awaiting.
Reflecting on her journey, Shazney shared one of her most unforgettable experiences as a medical student:
“I think the most memorable moment I had with medical school was the first time we were posted to hospital. It was quite a scary experience but I’m glad we had the right people to guide us and take us through. Being in hospital the first time isn’t something you look forward to, they’re not really good things to see there but the motive is to save lives.”
Outside her academic pursuits, Shazney has also experienced big changes in her personal life. After parting ways with Mikie Wine, she moved on and found love again.
The couple tied the knot in a wedding held last year and now share a daughter together.
