Singer Zanie Brown has spoken about the spiritual struggles she has encountered throughout her music career.
In a recent interview, the artist shared that she faced spiritual attacks that led her to seek refuge and strength in her faith.
Raised in a deeply spiritual household, Zanie turned to God for protection and guidance during these challenging times.
According to her, the Ugandan music industry is steeped in spiritual influences, with every artist aligned either with divine forces or darker spiritual realms.
“No one is just singing with no spiritual backup. You are either with God or Satan. You are either prayerful or into witchcraft,” Zanie stated firmly.
“I know this because I have been in this industry for more than 10 years. I know that you have to be committed to either side. People who are entering the industry need to come in well aware of this,” she said.
