Bebe Cool has showered Cindy Sanyu with praise, reminiscing about the first time he saw her perform and recognizing her immense talent.
Speaking about the recent music battle between Cindy and Sheebah, Bebe Cool revealed that he had no doubts about Cindy’s stage dominance.
“When I saw that Cindy was going to battle Sheebah, I knew what Cindy could do on stage,” he said.
Bebe Cool recounted his first encounter with Cindy during a talent competition sponsored by Coca-Cola when he was working at Capital FM.
He vividly remembers Cindy, then just a young girl, stepping onto the stage in slippers. While many, including the judges, were not paying much attention, Bebe Cool was immediately captivated by her talent.
“I saw the judges and everyone not paying attention, but guess what? When I heard what this little girl was doing, that day I knew Uganda had an artist. So I chose on that day to support Cindy,” he shared.
Reflecting on the Cindy vs. Sheebah battle, Bebe Cool admitted that he felt sorry for Sheebah, knowing firsthand how strong Cindy is as a performer.
