TikToker Janie Namukasa has publicly apologized to music star Jose Chameleone after spreading false information about him.

In a TikTok video shared on February 23, Namukasa admitted that the claims she had made were untrue. She explained that the individuals who initially provided her with the information had ulterior motives.
“The people who gave me that information, we later realized, were fighting Jose Chameleone,” she stated.
Namukasa had previously alleged that Chameleone had been arrested in the U.S. for allegedly assaulting Juliet Zawedde, his host. However, it later emerged that the singer was actually hospitalized for pancreatic surgery.
Expressing remorse, Namukasa wished Chameleone a speedy recovery and looked forward to his return. “I’m really sorry for hurting your feelings, Jose Chameleone,” she said.
