Renowned Ugandan traditional healer Sophia Namutebi, popularly known as Mama Fiina, has shared detailed plans for how she wants her burial to be handled.
The leader of traditional healers in Uganda has issued these instructions to her daughter, Fiina, to ensure her wishes are respected.
Mama Fiina emphasizes that her funeral should be a celebration of life rather than a time of sorrow. She has requested that attendees eat, drink, and have fun at her vigil, urging a joyful atmosphere instead of mourning.
She has also firmly stated that no politician should dominate her funeral program. According to her, politicians are known for being insincere, and she wants no place for their pretense during her final send-off.
In addition, Mama Fiina has warned against relatives exaggerating their grief in public, calling such displays hypocritical. She insists on keeping the event genuine and free of false emotions.
Finally, Mama Fiina has made it clear that she wants to be buried at her popular Bulenga home. This decision, she says, is to avoid potential acts of witchcraft from her relatives.
Mama Fiina’s strict guidelines highlight her strong personality and her determination to maintain control even in her absence.
