President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has directed State House to facilitate the treatment of Jose Chameleone abroad.

The “Badilisha” singer, who has been battling acute pancreatitis caused by heavy alcohol consumption, will be flown to the United States for specialized care.
Chameleone’s trip to Allina Health Mercy Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will take place next week.
Although Juliet Zawedde initially purchased the flight tickets, it is now confirmed that State House will cover all medical expenses, including the treatment and other associated costs.
Hon. Balaam, a close ally of Chameleone, also confirmed the development, stating that President Museveni’s primary goal is to see the musician recover and live a longer life.
“The President wishes to see Chameleone live longer and continue contributing to the entertainment industry,” Balaam said during a media briefing.
The news of Chameleone’s health crisis and his upcoming treatment has drawn public attention, with many Ugandans hoping for his swift recovery.
