BBS Terefayina presenter and actress Dianah Nabatanzi has spoken out against the societal pressure placed on women to have children, particularly targeting those in their 30s.
Nabatanzi said that everyone has their own goals and priorities in life, and motherhood is not a universal aspiration.
Despite not having children, Nabatanzi revealed that she frequently faces intrusive questions about her decision.
She noted that even strangers often bring up the topic, making her feel uncomfortable.

“Stop demanding us children because you don’t know what we are going through,” Nabatanzi stated. She pointed out that while some women may not prioritize having children, others struggle with infertility, making such questions deeply hurtful.
Nabatanzi appealed to society to exercise sensitivity, especially when addressing women who may find discussions about childbearing painful.
“Some badly want children but unfortunately, they can’t get pregnant. It’s not fun to be asked about having children when you can’t have one,” she added.
